(Psychotherapy)
Individual therapy involves a collaborative process between a therapist and the person seeking support. Its purpose is to inspire change, improve well-being, and address difficult issues. Therapy equips individuals with skills to manage challenges, make healthy choices, and enhance self-awareness. Our trained therapists at Greene Horizons LLC provide confidential support, guiding individuals through personal growth and helping them improve their quality of life.
Group Therapy sessions involve a counselor and a group of clients in various stages of recovery. People are encouraged to participate in discussions about experiences, feelings, goals, coping skills, or anything else related to their addiction. Group sessions offer opportunities to relate to, connect with, and receive support from other clients’ as they work through their own individual challenges. This helps clients gain a clearer understanding of their own issues and get alternative perspectives on how others in a similar situation were able to overcome these challenges.
Traditional Outpatient recovery services can be customized to meet the needs of clients. They typically include a structured schedule that includes some combination of individual and group counseling. There is no general requirement when it comes to how many hours per week clients need to receive aftercare in this type of program. These programs are often recommended to clients who have completed an IOP program and require a little extra support before reducing their visits to biweekly or monthly behavioral therapy counseling or group therapy sessions. They can also be useful for individuals who’ve previously completed a n addiction treatment center program and are at risk of relapse.
